Andrew Lamb

STEERING COMMITTEE

A graduate of Concordia University, Andrew Lamb trained as a director with Mike Alfreds at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London, England, and is currently the Director of Education and Outreach at Tarragon Theatre. Andrew is the Artistic Director of Theatre Awakening and was part of the 2009 Director’s Lab at the Lincoln Center Theater in New York.

Selected directing credits include Driving Miss Daisy (Stirling Festival Theatre), BURIED (Next Stage 2010), My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding (Mirvish/Fringe Festival 2009), In Darfur (SummerWorks 2008), The Drawer Boy, The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream(Georgian Theatre Festival), Desperate Housepets (Montreal and Toronto Fringe Festivals 2006), After Juliet (Lorraine Kimsa Theatre for Young People), Just So Stories, The Balloon Tree(KidsVenue – Toronto Fringe Festival), WASPS (Hart House Theatre / U of T) and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Heritage Theatre).

Andrew has also worked as an arts educator for Soulpepper, the Canadian Stage Company, Words In Motion, Shakespearience, the Sears Ontario Drama Festival and over a decade at LKTYP’s Drama School.
